Let's Get Started

Each delivery with a “Friendly Visit” includes two complete, freshly prepared meals each weekday ˗ a hot dinner, lunch, dessert and beverage.

Included with every delivery is a “Friendly Visit” from a Meals on Wheels of Long Beach (MOWLB) delivery volunteer. These visits enable MOWLB staff to provide daily wellness checks for all of our clients.

Once you become a Meals on Wheels of Long Beach (MOWLB) client, you are eligible to receive  visits from a member of our CARE NAVIGATION PROGRAM (CNP) to assist you with referrals for supportive services that will enable you to remain safe and comfortable at home.  Our CNP team members will check to make sure your service is going smoothly and inquire about additional needs you might have and how we may be able to assist you.

TOGETHER, we hope to help you eat right, stay healthy and live well!
